Opened in 1985 by 3 Western Students new to London Ontario and looking for flavours reminiscent of home. Curry’s has become the most popular East Indian restaurant for dine-in, take-out and delivery in the city. The force behind the success of the restaurant lies in the culinary hands of Pramod Kukadia. Born in Birmingham, his family immigrated to Canada in the 70’s. His arrival in London Ontario unveiled the need to spice up the local menu choices. For the last 25 years he has cooked for the likes of Deepak Chopra & Billy Connolly in addition to the many local “vindaloo lovers” of London.

His Wife Susan has been entertaining the restaurant’s guests since 1989. She enjoys meeting new & repeat customers alike. She loves talking about the exotic flavours of India, the health benefits of Indian food and how beautiful India is.

Kitchen Staff

Curry’s originally started out with a Malaysian chef and has expanded the culinary variety to all parts of India. Presently, we are blessed to be working with Nargis Hassan from Pakistan over the last 12 years. Chef Alam Mudassar brings his experience from some of the most prestigious kitchens in Bomba and most recently comes from his position with Carnival Cruise Lines. Owner/Chef Pramod has personally trained his kitchen staff over the years so that customers enjoy their experience every single time they join us.

Come in and Lorien will tell you all about her favourite dish Saag Aloo, Sylvia will share the magic of growing up in Bangalore and discover the art of Indian cuisine along with the newest member of our Curry’s family Nicole.
